Duane is the “Xtreme Team Resource Assistant and Counselor-Trainer” or affectionately known as the “The XTRACTer”. His role is to draw out or “Xtract” from the team members what they are Xperiencing. Through the Xtreme Learning Model (the six X’s Xperience Mission, Xtend a Hand, Xpand your Mind, Xamine Priorities, Commitments, Responsibilities, Xercise Faith, and Xplore God's Word and World) he assists the team as they process their reactions to the Xposures. Of course XTRACTers are only respected if they too are open to the “drawing out” process in their life – from God and others. Through the Xtraction process, the XTRACTer will bring the team to the point of application, a “Jesus Question”, a point of "rubber hitting the road" discipleship.
Duane and his wife Marcia and their family are missionaries in Thailand, but are serving the next few years in the USA, working with resettled Karen and other refugees from Burma and the congregations that are finding themselves being transformed by the presence of these folks in their communities and churches.
