Rofy Samuel

My name is Rofy Samuel and I’m 18 years old.  I have just finished high school and I really enjoy photography and I hope to study interior design.  I speak Arabic, English, Dutch and some German, and I would like to study German and Dutch further.  I was an exchange student in Belgium for one year (2007-2008) with AFS, intercultural exchange program.  I lived with a Belgian host family with whom I still keep in touch. That year really changed my life and developed my character as well as getting to experience a different and new culture. Now I volunteer with AFS to help choose Egyptian youth who want to study abroad in the USA, Germany, Belgium, France, Italy, Switzerland, Brazil, Norway… etc.  We also host some programs from these countries for six months to a year here in Egypt.  It is a joy to have this opportunity to serve with the Xtreme team.
